Perancangan Fasilitas Kerja pada Aktivitas Manual Material Handling Menggunakan Metode Owas (Ovako Working Posture Analysis) di PD Lima Tiga Jaya Tenda

Abstract. PD Five Three Jaya Tent is one of the home industry engaged in the manufacture of various tents. Products are manufactured in make to stock is Scout tent. Stages of manufacture of Scout tent in PD Five Three Jaya Tent consists of three stages including the preparation phase of the manufacture of tents, tent-making process and the removal of the tent into the warehouse. On the transfer of activities to the tent with a heavy load of 25 kg operator performs its activities by manual or without the tools that led to many complaints that are perceived by the operator. Problems on the activity transfer of tents to the warehouse are identified using the kusioner nordic body folder and OWAS method. Kusioner nordic body folder aims to discover complaints from operators of body parts. While the OWAS method used to analyze the working of the operator's posture is it dangerous or not also to know what actions will do next. Results from nordic kusioner body folder shows the operator having a lot of complaints when the removal of the tent into the warehouse. Work posture analysis results using the OWAS method manually as well as software WinOWAS note that posture work shows results score three, meaning the work posture needs improvement as soon as possible. The repair is done, one of which is with the design of the facilities work in the form of tables and trolleys by using Anthropometri method. The design of a table is useful for temporary storage tents before being transported using trolley to the warehouse of materials so. The purpose of this research is to assist and facilitate the operator in the removal of the tent.

Abstrak.PD Lima Tiga Jaya Tenda merupakan salah satu home industry yang bergerak dibidang pembuatan bermacam-macam tenda. Produk yang diproduksi secara make to stock ialah tenda pramuka. Tahapan pembuatan tenda pramuka di PD Lima Tiga Jaya Tenda terdiri dari tiga tahapan diantaranya tahap persiapan pembuatan tenda, proses pembuatan tenda dan pemindahan tenda ke gudang. Pada aktivitas pemindahan tenda kegudang dengan berat beban 25kg operator melakukan aktivitasnya dengan cara manual atau tanpa alat bantu yang menyebabkan banyak keluhan yang dirasakan oleh operator. Permasalahan pada aktivitas pemindahan tenda kegudang diidentifikasi dengan menggunakan kusioner nordic body map dan metode OWAS.  Kusioner nordic body map bertujuan untuk mengetahui keluhan dari bagian tubuh operator. Sedangkan metode OWAS digunakan untuk menganalisis postur kerja operator apakah berbahaya atau tidak juga untuk mengetahui tindakan apa yang akan dilakukan selanjutnya. Hasil dari  kusioner nordic body map menunjukkan operator mengalami banyak keluhan saat pemindahan tenda kegudang. Hasil analisis postur kerja dengan menggunakan metode OWAS secara manual maupun software WinOWAS diketahui bahwa postur kerja menunjukkan hasil score tiga yang artinya postur kerja tersebut perlu perbaikan sesegera mungkin. Perbaikan yang dilakukan salah satunya ialah dengan perancangan fasilitas kerja berupa meja dan troli dengan menggunakan metode Anthropometri. Perancangan meja berguna untuk penyimpanan sementara tenda sebelum diangkut menggunakan troli kegudang bahan jadi. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk membantu dan memudahkan operator dalam pemindahan tenda.
