Abstract


Abstract— Communication has always been a complex thing in our daily activities. It is nearly impposible if we not communicate even in just a day, with others as well with ourself. Message exchange related to coffee by Gravfarm with propose to educate was frequently done to their farmers. Comprehensive counseling with fun approachment is effective ways for Gravfarm to fullfill their ambition to produce eksport standard quality. This research aims to find out and explain the Education of Farmers Group by Indonesian Exporters (Qualitative Case Study of Interpersonal Communication to Educate Farmers Group by PT Inti Gravfarm Indonesia). This research method uses a qualitative approach using the Case Study of Robert K. Yin, authors want to know how step of social penetration that used by Gravfarm to educate their farmers. Altman & Taylor’s social penetration theory was used as literature for explore this research. Through Robert K. Yin’s case study analysis, we can find the steps of social penetration by Gravfarm to educate their farmers. The study entitled "Education of Farmers Group by Indonesian Exporters " will reveal how steps of social penetration to educate their farmers. Steps of social penetration by Gravfarm consists of orientation step where contains of collecting data and information also approaching the elders. After that, affective exchange that contains trustness in both side started to built, lastly is stable exchange step that contains trusts in both side reached in a higher level and depends on each others.
