Hubungan antara Kredibilitas Staf Pengajar Dj Arie School dengan Keterampilan Siswa Berkomunikasi

Abstract


The writer is interested in this issue being examined because the writer thinks that the capability to communicate well is now an important aspect for all people. Dj Arie School is one of training centers in Bandung for improving people’s public speaking skill. Dj Arie School has a modern curriculum which 100% emphasizes on practice and its consistency to create reliable broadcasters, public speakers, and presenters every month because these kinds of jobs indeed need a good communication skill. Due to those reasons, this research aims to find the correlation between teaching staffs and students’ soft skill at Dj Arie Shool in communication. The method used in this research is simple correlation method. This method is used to examine whether there is a correlation or not between the two variables used. Besides that, the Rank Spearman correlation coefficient technique is applied as the two variables in this research belong to ordinal scale variables. The objects of this research are the registered and active students at Dj Arie School. However, not all registered and active students at Dj Arie School are taken as the research objects. The objects of this research are students from 4 different generations active in learning activities at Dj Arie School. They are from 120, 121, 122 class and IHT 39 class. Based on the research analysis, there are 4 sub-hypothesis indicating the correlation between the two variables in this research. It can be concluded that the credibility of teaching staffs at Dj Arie School affects students’ skill in communication.
