Strategi Media Relations PDAM Tirtawenig dalam Mempublikasikan Program SPAM Gedebage

Abstract


Abstract. PDAM Tirtawening has a new program, namely Gedebage SPAM. The Gedebage Drinking Water Supply System or Gedebage SPAM is a program that was built aimed at facilitating the provision of clean water for the people of the Eastern region of Bandung City. In the program, PDAM Tirtawening held an “Information Session Activities for Prospective Drinking Water SPAM Customers†as a media relations strategy in publishing the Gedebage SPAM program to the people of Bandung, especially in the East. Based on these phenomena, the problems in this study are formulated as follows: (1) Why does PDAM Tirtawening carry out a media relations strategy through " Information Session Activities for Prospective SPAM Gedebage Drinking Water Customers in SPAM Gedebage Publication Program "? (2) What is the process of planning and implementing the media relations strategy of PDAM Tirtawening through " Information Session Activities for Prospective SPAM Gedebage Drinking Water Customers in SPAM Gedebage Publication Program "? (3) What are the results obtained by PDAM Tirtawening through " Information Session Activities for Prospective SPAM Gedebage Drinking Water Customers in SPAM Gedebage Publication Program "? This study uses a case study technique method using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and literature. The results of this study are: (1) There are internal and external reasons that encourage PDAM Tirtawening to carry out media relations strategy activities (2) There is a planning process and the implementation of media relations strategy activities including the distribution of press releases and program arrangements (4) PDAM Tirtawening obtain positive and negative results through media relations strategy activities.

Abstrak. PDAM Tirtawening memiliki suatu program baru, yaitu SPAM Gedebage. Sistem Penyediaan Air Minum atau SPAM Gedebage merupakan program yang dibangun bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi penyediaan air bersih bagi masyarakat wilayah Timur Kota Bandung. Pada program tersebut PDAM Tirtawening menyelenggarakan suatu “Kegiatan Sosialisasi Penjaringan Calon Pelanggan Air Minum SPAM Gedebage†sebagai suatu strategi media relations dalam mempublikasikan program SPAM Gedebage kepada masyarakat Kota Bandung khususnya di wilayah Timur. Berdasarkan fenomena terebut, maka permasalahan dalam penelitian ini dirumuskan sebagai berikut: (1) Mengapa PDAM Tirtawening melakukan strategi media relations melalui “Kegiatan Sosialisasi Penjaringan Calon Pelanggan Air Minum SPAM Gedebage� (2) Bagaimana proses perencanaan dan pelaksanaakn strategi media relations PDAM Tirtawening melalui “Kegiatan Sosialisasi Penjaringan Calon Pelanggan Air Minum SPAM Gedebage� (3) Bagaimana hasil yang diperoleh PDAM Tirtawening melalui “Kegiatan Sosialisasi Penjaringan Calon Pelanggan Air Minum SPAM Gedebage� Penelitian ini menggunakan metode teknik studi kasus dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Adanya alasan internal dan eksternal yang mendorong PDAM Tirtawening melaksanakan kegiatan strategi media relations (2) Terdapat proses perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan strategi media relations (3) PDAM Tirtawening memperoleh hasil positif dan negatif melalui kegiatan strategi media relations.
