Uji Aktivitas Antibakteri Ekstrak Daun Mangga Bapang (Mangifera Indica L.) terhadap Pertumbuhan Bakteri Propionibacterium Acnes.

Abstract


Abstract. One of the plant material that is potentially as a medicine is bapang mango (Mangifera indica L.) leaves. on this using an antibacterial activity the mango leaves against Propionibacterium acnes bacteria has been done using will diffusion method. as the step extraction has been done using multi solvents maceration method with n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and methanol sovents. Antibacterial activity of each extract was there using will diffusion method. The results showed that on n- hexane extract with (10mg/mL, 20mg/mL, 40mg/mL, 80mg/mL, 100mg/mL) concentration no inhibition zone was formed. on ethyl acetate extract was formed inhibition zone on the concentration 80 mg/m with diameter 22,1 mm, and methanol extract, was formed inhibition zone on the concentration 100 mg/mL, with the diameter 21,5 mm. The value of the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the ethyl acetate extract was formed inhibition zone on the concentration 6 mg/mL with a diameter of 8.3 mm. Selection extract (ethyl acetate) was monitored by thin layer chromatography using silica gel Gf 254 as stationary any phase n- hexane : chloroform : ethyl acetate (7,5 : 2 : 0,5) as mobile phase.

Abstrak. Bahan tanaman yang berpotensi sebagai obat adalah daun mangga bapang (Mangifera indica L.). pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengujian aktivitas antibakteri daun mangga bapang terhadap bakteri Propionibacterium acnes dengan metode difusi sumur. Penelitian pertama dilakukan ekstraksi dengan metode maserasi bertingkat dengan pelarut n-heksan, etil asetat, dan metanol. Setiap ekstrak diuji aktivitas antibakteri dengan metode difusi sumur. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa pada ekstrak n-heksan konsentrasi uji (10mg/mL, 20mg/mL, 40mg/mL, 80mg/mL, 100mg/mL) tidak terbentuk zona hambat. Sebaliknya, pada ekstrak etil asetat terbentuk zona hambat terbesar pada konsentrasi 80mg/mL dengan diameter 22,1 mm dan untuk ekstrak metanol terbentuk zona hambat terbesar pada konsentrasi 100mg/mL dengan diameter 21,5 mm. Nilai konsentrasi hambat minimum (KHM) ekstrak etil asetat pada konsentrrasi 6 mg/mL dengan diameter 8,3 mm. Ekstrak terpilih (etil asetat) selanjutnya dilakukan pemantuan senyawa dengan KLT menggunakan fase diam silika gel   Gf  254 dan fase gerak n-heksana : kloroform : etilsetat  (7,5 : 2 : 0,5).
