Potensi Daun Bidara Arab (Ziziphus Spina-Christi L.) sebagai Penyubur Rambut

Abstract


Abstract. Hair loss and baldness are diseases that are often experienced by men and women. Therefore, it is important to develop treatments to prevent hair loss, which promotes the hair growth. The aim of this study was to discover the potential of Arabian Bidara (Ziziphus spina-christi L.) leaves as a hair fertilizer comparing the chemical compound of other plants. The study was conducted using literature searches in the form of scientific articles, research journals, journal reviews and books that contain chemical compounds, plants that function as hair fertilizers. The search results are then compiled and summarized in the form of tables with the preparation of an adjusted review. Based on research that has been done, Ziziphus spina-christi has the potential as a hair fertility, because it contains chemical compounds including alkaloids, flavonoids, riboflavin, saponins, polyphenols where the content of these compounds is also found in other plants that have hair fertility activities for example plants of the genus Ziziphus.

Abstrak. Kerontokan dan kebotakan rambut merupakan penyakit yang sering dialami oleh pria dan wanita. Karena itu, penting untuk mengembangkan pengobatan untuk mencegah rambut rontok, yang mendorong pertumbuhan rambut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui potensi daun Bidara Arab (Ziziphus spina-christi L.) sebagai penyubur rambut dengan membandingkan kandungan senyawa kimia dari tanaman lain. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelusuran pustaka berupa artikel ilmiah, jurnal penelitian, review jurnal dan buku yang berisi tentang kandungan senyawa, aktivitas dan tanaman yang berfungsi sebagai penyubur rambut. Hasil penelusuran yang diperoleh selanjutnya disusun dan dirangkum dalam bentuk tabel dengan penyusunan review yang telah disesuaikan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, tanaman Ziziphus spina-christi  berpotensi sebagai penyubur rambut karena memiliki kandungan senyawa kimia diantaranya yaitu alkaloid, flavonoid, riboflavin, saponin, polifenol dimana kandungan senyawa tersebut juga terdapat pada tanaman lain yang memiliki aktivitas sebagai penyubur rambut contohnya tanaman dari genus Ziziphus juga memiliki aktivitas sebagai penyubur rambut.
