Strategi Pengebangan Sentra Perdagangan Kain Cigondewah di Kecamatan Bandung Kulon

Abstract


Bandung City is known as the center of West Java government and education center that causes many people to immigrate to Bandung City. This promted an increase in the needs of society has encouraged the economic movement in the trade sector, including traded cloth Cigondewah area. However, in this development, The Cigondewah fabric trade center has several obstacles to the narrowness of roads causing congestion, the shifting trend of people who prefer clothing and parking items that make it difficult for visitors to Cigondewah. Therefore the need for development strategies that can increase the trade Cigondewah center fabric. The method used in this research is to use descriptive method with quantitative appoarch. In this study, the authors used SWOT Analysis for Cigondewah trading Center development strategy. The following is Analysis of the data attached before the result showed that Cigondewah Fabric Center has the ain strength in the form of  Cigondewah cloth price is more affordable than elsewhere and the fabric quality is better. While the major disadvantages of online marketing are few and the role of poor means while the opportunity for developing the fabric center is the level of easy labor availability and the promotion of word of mouth increases the sales of the Cigondewah fabric and the main threat is the growing number of new fabrics and the difficult accessibility. Based on quantitive SWOT Analysis result obtained the ost optimal strategy is SO to develop fabric in Cigondewah.
