The Impacts of Land Transfer Function by the Development of West Java International Airport (BIJB) on the Socio-Economic Conditions of Community of Kertajati Majalengka 2009-2013

Abstract


The development of West Java International Airport (BIJB) is the realization of development plans of the West Java Province. It was then made into national development. In the construction of BIJB, government procures land with the release of land from the people who are paid compensation by the government. The land is mostly agricultural land, resulting in land conversion from agriculture to non-agriculture. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of land use changes caused by development of BIJB on the socioeconomic conditions of the community and the level of rice productivity around Kertajati, Majalengka. This research used quantitative method. The data were collected by interviews and questionnaires in which the sample collection technique is the random sampling with a total sample of 99 samples. The method of data analysis used different test Statistics Average: Test Samples Couples.
