The Influence of Religiosity Values on the Consumption Ethics of the Student of Islamic Boarding School of Daarut Tauhiid Bandung

Abstract


Islam arranges all human activities in daily life, including in the consumption activities. Islam has rules that must be understood and performed by every Muslim. These rules should be used as guidelines in the conduct of consumption to maintain the values of religiosity. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of religiosity values on the Islamic ethical consumption of students living in the boarding of Daarut Tauhiid. To see the effect of religiosity on the ethical values, this study used a simple regression. The sampling technique was random sampling technique to conduct a survey involving 89 respondents. The results of this study reveal a positive effect of religiosity on the Islamic values on student’s ethics consumption. Students who have a good understanding of religion have a good ethical consumption behavior.
