Analisis Efisiensi Industri Bordir Berbasis Komputer dan Manual di Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya

Abstract

Abstract. The embroidery industry is the industry most in demand by craftsmen in Kawalu District compared to other Districts in the City of Tasikmalaya. The purpose of this study was to estimate the level of efficiency of the production of computer-based and manual embroidery industries in Kawalu District, Tasikmalaya City. Data collection methods used through a survey of 30 respondents with a stochastic frontier production function analysis technique. The results showed that the level of technical efficiency of the computer embroidery industry in the Kawalu District of Tasikmalaya City was an average of 83 percent. This means that the value of technical efficiency is still below 1, meaning that the computer embroidery industry has not been efficient and there is still a 17 percent chance to improve technical efficiency, whereas in the manual embroidery industry in the Kawalu District of Tasikmalaya City it is known that the level of technical efficiency is 66 percent. That is, the value of technical efficiency is still below 1, meaning that the manual embroidery industry has not been efficient and there is still a 34 percent chance to increase output production in respondents.

Abstrak.Industri bordir merupakan industri yang paling banyak diminati para pengrajin di Kecamatan Kawalu dibandingkan dengan Kecamatan lainnya yang berada di Kota Tasikmalaya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengestimasi tingkat efisiensi produksi industri bordir berbasis komputer dan manual di Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui survei 30 responden dengan teknik analisis fungsi produksi frontier stokastik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat efisiensi teknis industri bordir komputer di Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya rata-rata sebesar 83 persen. Hal ini berarti bahwa nilai efisiensi teknis masih berada dibawah 1, artinya industri bordir komputer belum efisien dan masih ada peluang sebesar 17 persen untuk meningkatkan efisiensi teknis, sedangkan pada industri bordir manual di Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya diketahui tingkat efisiensi teknis sebesar 66 persen. Artinya, nilai efisiensi teknis masih berada dibawah 1, artinya industri bordir manual belum efisien dan masih ada peluang sebesar 34 persen untuk meningkatkan produksi output pada reponden.
