Perbandingan Karakteristik Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 yang Terkontrol dengan Tidak Terkontrol di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah

Abstract


Abstract. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is the most common type of diabetes, accounting for 90% of all diabetes mellitus cases. T2DM disease usually causes dangerous complications and affects many human organ systems. The purpose of this study was to analyze the comparison of sex and age characteristics in controlled and uncontrolled T2DM patients at the Al-Ihsan Regional General Hospital for the period 2019 - 2020. This study was an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional study. Data analysis used Chi-square test. This study used secondary data in the form of medical records of T2DM patients in the Al-Ihsan Regional General Hospital for the period 2019 - 2020. Based on a study of 41 T2DM patients, 28 women were obtained and 13 were 46-55 years old.

Abstrak. Diabtes melitus tipe 2 (DMT2) merupakan diabetes tipe yang paling umum, sekitar 90% dari semua kasus diabetes melitus. Penyakit DMT2 biasanya akan menimbulkan komplikasi yang berbahaya dan  dapat mempengaruhi banyak sistem organ manusia. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah menganalisis perbandingan karakteristik jenis kelamin dan umur pada pasien DMT2 yang terkontrol dengan tidak terkontrol di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Al-Ihsan periode 2019 - 2020. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan rancangan potong lintang. Analisis data dengan uji beda proporsi uji Chi-square. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa rekam medik pasien DMT2 di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Al-Ihsan periode 2019 – 2020. Hasil penelitian pada 41 pasien DMT2 didapatkan jenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak sebanyak 28 orang dan didapatkan umur 46-55 tahun sebanyak 13 orang.
