Scoping Review: Efek Pemberian Kopi terhadap Penurunan Profil Lipid pada Tikus Model Hiperlipidemia

Abstract


Abstract. Hyperlipidemia is still suffered by many people in the world, including in Indonesia. Hyperlipidemia can be overcome with non-pharmacological, pharmacological and alternative treatments. One of the alternative treatments for hyperlipidemia is coffee. The purpose of this study was to explore and analyze the effect of coffee on lipid profiles in experimental animal models of hyperlipidemia. This study uses the scoping review method. The databases used are PubMed, ScienceDirect, and SpringerLink with the keywords "coffee" AND "hyperlipidemia" taken from the years 2010–2020. The number of journals obtained was 1981 then screened until 4 journals were obtained for analysis. The results of the analysis of articles that were eligible for criteria showed that routine coffee administration with the appropriate dose was effective in reducing the lipid profile. The conclusion of this study found that there is an effect of coffee on lipid profiles in hyperlipidemia in the form of decreased and improved lipid profiles.

Abstrak. Kondisi hiperlipidemia masih banyak diderita oleh masyarakat di dunia termasuk di Indonesia. Hiperlipidemia dapat diatasi dengan pengobatan berupa non farmakologis, farmakologis dan alternatif. Salah satu pengobatan alternatif pada hiperlipidemia yaitu kopi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis efek pemberian kopi terhadap profil lipid pada hewan coba model hiperlipidemia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode scoping review. Database yang digunakan yaitu PubMed, ScienceDirect, dan SpringerLink dengan kata kunci “coffee” AND ”hyperlipidemia” yang diambil dari tahun 2010–2020. Jumlah jurnal yang didapat berjumlah 1981 kemudian dilakukan screening hingga didapatkan 4 jurnal untuk dianalisis. Hasil analisis artikel yang masuk kriteria eligible menunjukkan bahwa pada pemberian kopi secara rutin dengan dosis sesuai efektif dalam penurunan profil lipid. Kesimpulan penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa terdapat efek pemberian kopi terhadap profil lipid pada hiperlipidemia berupa penurunan dan perbaikan profil lipid.
