Abstract

Abstract. Low physical activity can potentially lead to various non-communicable diseases (PTM), one of which is obesity. Obesity can be prevented by modifying the pattern of physical activity. This study aims to determine whether physical activity such as walking can affect weight loss in young adults. The method used in this research is systematical review and there are 2,588 journals related to the title after being selected, there are 5 which will be analyzed using PICOS and CONSORT. The results showed that there was a decrease in body weight by walking, although it was not significant (P> 0.05). A recommended number of steps is around 10,000 - 12,000. Walking that is done every day can lose weight, although not significantly. Future research is expected to focus on the intensity of walking.
