Abstract

Abstract. The incidence of low back pain is mostly caused by lumbosacral osteoarthritis so research needs to be done on the relationship between radiological features of lumbosacral osteoarthritis with low back pain events and radiological features of lumbosacral osteoarthritis as a material for future medical evaluation. This research was conducted at Al-Ihsan District Hospital in Bandung Regency which was conducted in the period of 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017 using the correlation analytic method. The data in this study are secondary taken from medical records while the sample selection is done by simple random sampling with an alpha value of 0.05 so that a sample size of 87 people is obtained. The results in this study obtained patients diagnosed with low back pain, namely 86 people (98.9%) and radiological features of 86 lumbosacral osteoarthritis (98.9%) while the statistical test results obtained p value = 0.01 and the correlation value [1]obtained at 0,7 so that there is a correlation and radiological relationship of lumbosacral osteoarthritis with low back pain. This is cause narrowing of the intervertebral discs, which can cause compression of the nerve roots causing radicular pain to the lower limbs.
