Prevalensi Kanker Prostat pada Penderita Penyakit Prostat di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Al-Ihsan Provinsi Jawa Barat Tahun 2013-2018

Abstract. The prevalence of prostate cancer in Indonesia in 2013 was 0.2% or an estimated 25,012 sufferers. Risk factors for prostate cancer include increased age, family history, ethnic African Americans, obesity, and food factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of prostate cancer in patients with prostate disease in the Al-Ihsan Regional General Hospital Bandung in 2013-2018. This study used a retrospective cross sectional descriptive method using a sample population total sampling technique. Data can be obtained from secondary medical records from 2013-2018 at the Al-Ihsan Regional General Hospital in West Java Province that fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria and obtained 2634 cases of prostate disease. The results showed that the incidence of prostate cancer from 2013-2018 was 74 cases (2.8%) from the number of cases of prostate disease and showed the highest frequency of prostate cancer in 2017 as many as 32 cases (43.2%) and at age> 65 years as many as 56 cases (75.7%). At an older age, estrogen levels increase, estrogen plays a role in the proliferation of prostate gland cells.

Abstrak.Prevalensi kanker prostat di Indonesia tahun 2013 adalah sebesar 0,2% atau diperkirakan sebanyak 25.012 penderita. Faktor risiko untuk kanker prostat termasuk peningkatan usia, riwayat keluarga, etnis Afrika Amerika, obesitas, dan faktor makanan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui prevalensi kanker prostat pada penderita penyakit prostat di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Al-Ihsan Bandung Tahun 2013-2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif retrospektif cross sectional dengan menggunakan teknik pemilihan sampel total population sampling. Data dapat diperoleh dari data sekunder rekam medis tahun 2013-2018 di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Al-Ihsan Provinsi Jawa Barat yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dan didapatkan 2634 kasus penyakit prostat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat angka kejadian kanker prostat dari tahun 2013-2018 sebanyak 74 kasus (2,8%) dari jumlah kasus penyakit prostat dan menunjukkan frekuensi tertinggi terjadinya kanker prostat pada tahun 2017 sebanyak 32 kasus (43,2%) dan pada usia >65 tahun sebanyak 56 kasus (75,7%). Pada usia yang semakin tua, kadar estrogen meningkat, estrogen berperan dalam proliferasi sel-sel kelenjar prostat.
