Perancangan Sistem Informasi Apotek Iqro

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to find out the information systems which are being applied and identify the problems which occur at Iqro Pharmacy. The problems are: the organizational structure is not complete, job descriptions are unobvious and unwritten so that the owner and the employees still have a double job and function, the documents are still made manually, and the reports of each activity that occur are not made. Information systems design aims to help the pharmacies by providing alternative solutions for the problems that occur, to help the pharmacies in the implementation of operational activities, and to improve the control of each function so that they can do their jobs according to their responsibilities. The research method used by Author in this research is the descriptive analysis method. Besides that, the Author uses the Framework for The Application of System Technique (FAST) method and uses the Joint Application Development (JAD) approach. The results of this research are the Iqro Pharmacy’s new information systems design proposal which includes the sales information systems, the purchase information systems, the warehouse information systems, and the financial information systems which are sufficient to support the implementation of operational activities.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sistem informasi yang sedang diterapkan pada Apotek Iqro dan mengidentifikasi permasalahan-permasalahan yang terjadi. Permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut diantaranya yaitu: tidak lengkapnya struktur organisasi yang dimiliki, tidak memiliki job description yang jelas dan tertulis sehingga masih terjadi perangkapan tugas dan fungsi pada pemilik dan masing-masing pegawai, dokumen-dokumen masih dibuat secara manual dan tidak memadai,  serta tidak dibuatnya laporan pada setiap kegiatan yang terjadi. Perancangan sistem informasi ini dilakukan untuk membantu apotek dalam memberikan alternatif solusi atas permasalahan-permasalahan yang terjadi, membantu dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan operasional serta meningkatkan pengendalian pada masing-masing fungsi sehingga mereka dapat melakukan tugas sesuai dengan tanggung jawabnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penulis pada penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif. Selain itu, penulis juga menggunakan metode FAST (Framework for The Application of System Technique) dengan pendekatan JAD (Joint Application Development). Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa usulan perancangan sistem informasi yang baru bagi Apotek Iqro yang mencakup sistem informasi penjualan, sistem informasi pembelian, sistem informasi persediaan, dan sistem informasi keuangan yang memadai guna untuk mendukung pelaksanaan kegiatan operasional.
