Abstract


Abstract. The phenomenon in this study shows that Paseban Tri Panca Tunggal as a culture that is rich in symbolic meaning for every element of its space and the phenomenon of the Paseban Area is a popular tourist attraction in Seren Taun Traditional Center. The background for determining this problem has not yet explored the symbolic meaning of the Paseban Area as the Seren Taun Traditional Center. This research is focused on answering the problem formulation, namely what symbolic meanings are contained in the elements of the Paseban Tri Panca Tunggal area, so that the purpose of this study is to explore the symbolic meaning of the spatial elements in the Paseban Tri Panca Tunggal area. as the Seren Taun Traditional Center.

So to achieve this goal the variables used are Corridor elements (Fences, banner and Environment), Main Gate elements (Gapura), Paseban Area Elements (Tri Panca Tunggal Paseban Area, Paseban Park, Merapat Lima Building and Educational Facilities. SMP Tri Mulya Unsur Puseur Adat (Jinem Room, Pendopo Room, Sri Manganti Room, Ageung Kitchen Room) Elements of Tugu (Two Kera Icons, Banaspati Buta and Bendera Tugu) The research method used is descriptive qualitative, the analysis used is analysis related to 5 elements regional imaging, analysis of the symbolic meaning of the Paseban Area, the analysis of the relationship between Paseban's symbolic meaning and its surrounding culture, space and conclusion of the symbolic meaning of Paseban with sampling techniques using snowball exploration techniques. Approaches to finding key information that has a lot of information with an unlimited number of samples for obtain the data needed to achieve research objectives, techniques This is also supported by interview techniques, field surveys, literature study and documentation.

The conclusion from the analysis obtained is to explore the symbolic meaning of the spatial elements in the Paseban Tri Panca area as the Seren Taun Traditional Center, namely in the total space elements the main components have a meaning about the life process in order to achieve authenticity. life which has basically one or three unifying orientations. Willingness, namely creativity, feelings and intentions that are manifested in behavior and information through the five senses when listening, seeing, trying, speaking, stepping and acting to get closer to the One, in order to obtain an increase in the overall elements in increasing the symbolic value of the elements. Corridors (fences, banners and neighborhood roads), the development of symbolic values in the elements of the gate, the development of symbolic values in the elements of Tri Panca Tunggal Paseban, Taman Paseban, Gedung Merapat Lima and Tri Mulya Junior. symbolic value in the elements of the Jinem Room, Pendopo, Sri Manganti, Dapur Aging and Megamendung and finally the development of symbolic values on the monument flag). Abstrak. Fenomena adanya penelitian ini bahwa Paseban Tri Panca Tunggal sebagai budaya yang kaya akan makna simbolik setiap elemen ruangnya dan fenomena Kawasan Paseban menjadi objek wisata Pusat Adat Seren Taun yang banyak dikunjungi. Melatarbelakangi munculnya isu, belum terekplorasi makna-makna simbolik Kawasan Paseban sebagai Pusat Adat Seren Taun. Studi ini fokus ingin menjawab rumusan masalah yaitu makna-makna sombolik apa yang terkandung di dalam elemen-elemen kawasan Paseban Tri Panca Tunggal maka tujuan studi ini adalah untuk mengekplorasi makna simbolik elemen-elemen ruang di Kawasan Paseban Tri Panca Tunggal sebagai Pusat Adat Seren Taun.

Maka untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut variabel yang digunakan elemen Koridor (Pagar, Umbul-umbul dan Jalan Lingkungan/Gang), elemen Gerbang Utama (Gapura), elemen Kawasan Paseban (Kawasan Gedung Paseban Tri Panca Tunggal, Taman Paseban, Gedung Merapat Lima dan Sarana Pendidikan SMP Tri Mulya), elemen Puseur Adat (Ruang Jinem, Ruang Pendopo, Ruang Sri Manganti, Ruang Dapur Ageung), elemen Tugu (Ikon Dua Kera, Buta Banaspati dan Tugu Tiang Bendera). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis place terkait 5 elemen citra kawasan, analisis makna simbolik Kawasan Paseban, analisis keterkaitan makna simbolik Paseban dengan ruang kebudayaan sekitarnya dan konklusi makna simbolik Paseban dengan teknik sampling menggunakan teknik ekplorasi snowball adalah suatu pendekatan untuk menemukan informasi-informasi kunci yang memiliki banyak informasi dengan jumlah sampel yang tidak ada batasnya hingga mendapatkan data yang dibutuhkan. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian maka teknik ini didukung juga dengan teknik wawancara, survey lapangan, studi pustaka dan dokumentasi.

Kesimpulan analisis yang didapatkan mengekplorasi makna simbolik elemen-elemen ruang di Kawasan Paseban Tri Panca tunggal sebagai Pusat Adat Seren Taun yaitu dalam keseluruhan elemen-elemen ruang komponen utama memiliki makna mengenai proses kehidupan guna mencapai kesejatian hidup yang pada hakikatnya memiliki orientasi yang satu atau mempersatukan tiga kehendak yaitu Cipta, Rasa dan Karsa yang diwujudkan dalam prilaku lalu diterjemahkan melalui panca indera ketika mendengar, melihat, bersikap, berbicara, melangkah dan bertindak untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Yang Maha Esa, sehingga mendapatkan usulan dari keselurahan elemen di antaranya usulan pengembangan nilai-nilai simbolik pada elemen Koridor (Pagar, Umbul-Umbul dan Jalan Lingkungan), usulan pengembangan nilai-nilai simbolik pada elemen Gapura, usulan pengembangan nilai-nilai simbolik pada elemen Kawasan Paseban Tri Panca Tunggal, Taman Paseban, Gedung Merapat Lima dan SMP Tri Mulya, usulan pengembangan nilai-nilai simbolik pada elemen Ruang Jinem, Pendopo, Sri Manganti, Dapur Ageing dan Megamendung serta terakhir usulan pengembangan nilai-nilai simbolik pada elemen Tugu.
