Leadership model Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) in the Book Frame “Harus Bisa, Seni Memimpin Ala SBYâ€

Abstract

Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) is a thinker. Said to be a general thinker while still in the military world, making SBY makes his mindset that became his style of leadership. His attitude is always detail, making him always careful in solving every problem that exists. As a leader, he not only gives decisions or orders, but gives direction and observes his subordinates directly. This study aims to determine how the leadership of a Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). Researchers took qualitative research methods using the approach of framing analysis model William A. Gamson and Andre Modigliani. The model, as a way to find and discover what kind of leadership is framed by Dr. Dino Patti Djalal, in his book entitled “Harus Bisa, Seni Memimpin ala SBY.†In this model the analysis is divided into two parts: framing devices and reasoning devices. Based on a number of data and observations, SBY is a unique leader figure, for being a reliable leader to set his mindset but has interest to art. His assertive and self-assertive attitude makes him a ready leader in the face of every problem.
