Reportase Investigatif dalam Program Aiman

Abstract

Abstract. This research is based on how information broadcasting culture nowadays, which amazes the audiences to an actualness more often without gaining factualness any deeper. Besides, both of the actuality and factuality are supposed to be the ultimate combination of values that indicated news journalism. Each of the media industries however need to build their own identities to survive and compete one another in news and information broadcasting. Aiman is one of weekly news program airing on Kompas TV, which reporting the news in semi documentary format that hosted by Aiman Witjaksono. To construct the facts of the news Aiman tends to show the situation and circumstances from the point of view of the main actors of the case and those who necessary related. On September 2017,  the strong issues about the newly elected governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno, to fulfill their campaign commitments which one of them is to shut down the Alexis because their illegally doing behind the name of the company. Aiman aired the episode of “Lagi, Setelah Alexis?†on September 6^th 2017, after the government of DKI Jakarta finally closed down the Alexis. As press as being a watchdog to the government, Aiman on episode “Lagi, Setelag Alexis?†tried to show the audiences that there is still many cases that appear to be the sasme case of Alexis. This research is focused on how Aiman constructed the factualities to the case on episode “Lagi, Setelah Alexis?†and  the depth of investigation which leads to how far the implementation of investigative journalism within the program. The methodology of this qualitative research is Narrative Analysis by Nick Lacey which include narrative structure and narrator position. This reseearh discovered the facts on episode “Lagi, Setelah Alexis?†is structured to give the audiences the highest tensions by the end of the story. Aiman Witjaksono was positioned as dramatic narrator in subjective narration which only showed the audiences what the facts underneath the general surficial. Which lead to the conclusion that investigative journalism only applied as the technique of reportage, not reaching the result for being investigative journalism reportation.

Abstrak. Penulisan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh berkembangnya kecepatan arus informasi dalam kegiatan jurnalistik, yang tidak jarang lebih mengedepankan aktualitas semata. Padahal sebuah berita jurnlistik seharusnya mengedepankan pula kedalaman faktualitas. Sebuah pemberitaan yang mendalam dan mampu menelisik fakta di balik sebuah kejadian seakan menjadi angin segar di dunia pemberitaan dewasa ini. Program Aiman Kompas TV menyuguhkan tayangan informatif berdasarkan pemaparan fakta-fakta dari sisi yang lebih mendalam. Mencuatnya kasus yang sempat mencuri atensi publik seperti indikasi tindak prostitusi di balik binis Hotel dan Griya Pijat Alexis, selalu dihubung-hubungkan dengan realisasi janji kampanye Anies Baswedan dan Sandiaga Uno. Melalui episode “Lagi, Setelah Alexis?†pada program Aiman Kompas TV, sebuah praktik pemenuhan fakta terkait isu tersebut diulas melalui sudut pandang yang berbeda. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menemukan pola peliputan mendalam melalui kerangka jurnalisme investigasi, yang dilakukan dalam narasi program Aiman Kompas TV pada episode tersebut. Berdasarkan metodologi kualitatif analisis naratif Nick Lacey terhadap struktur narasi berita, posisi narator, sehingga menemukan sebuah pengerucutan penelitian mengenai implementasi jurnalisme investigasi pada narasi tersebut. Pada penelitian ini pemaparan fakta disusun ke dalam struktur narasi berita yang cenderung memiliki ketegangan di akhir program. Aiman Witjaksono pun diposisikan sebagai narator dramatis yang menunjukan sebuah fakta-fakta (showing)  pada sebuah narasi berjenis subjektif. Oleh sebab itu, jurnalisme investigasi diimplementasikan pada tahapan reportasenya semata tetapi tidak berakhir sebagai sebuah produk jurnalistik.
